Meet Dr. Dulit
A New York native, Dr. Alan Dulit moved to Colorado in 1982 and has not looked back! His heart has always been in the mountains, and he is excited to have joined Women’s Health at Valley View. As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Dulit provides regular weekend obstetric coverage and appreciates collaborating with our wonderful certified nurse midwives in making the birth experience safe and special for our pregnant patients and their families.
Skills and Specialties
At Women’s Health at Valley View, Dr. Dulit provides expertise in several areas, including obstetrics, gynecology, fertility, and general women’s health. Through obstetrics care, he performs prenatal care and testing, ultrasounds, sonograms, and vaginal birth after cesarean. Dr. Dulit also offers contraception counseling, STD testing, genetic testing, and hormone therapy. Additionally, he provides treatments for an array of conditions, including endometriosis.
Education and Training
Dr. Dulit completed medical school and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999 at the University of Colorado in Denver and practiced in Frisco, CO until 2007. After leaving private practice, he worked for many years as an OB hospitalist, where he found great satisfaction in being able to forge immediate empathic relationships with pregnant patients in a hospital setting. He also aided in providing expert emergency care. Dr. Dulit has had the privilege of serving in a number of leadership positions, including Chief Medical Officer for the Summit Medical Center in Frisco, CO from 2013 – 2016. He returned to full-time clinical practice in 2016 as an OB hospitalist with the Obstetrix Maternal Fetal Medicine group at Presbyterian St. Lukes in Denver, CO focusing on high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Dulit and his wife, Christina, currently live in Breckenridge, CO with their yellow Labrador, Luke, where they enjoy skiing, cycling, and rafting. They love the Roaring Fork Valley and look forward to making it their home.
