About Yoga

At our Women’s Health at Valley View locations, we provide both pre- and postnatal yoga as a restorative practice to unite the mind, body, and spirit before and after childbirth. Accentuating core strength, pelvic floor work, and breathing exercises, prenatal yoga can aid in the birthing process and provide effective techniques for internal and external strength.

Benefits of Yoga

Postnatal yoga helps to relax and rejuvenate the body following birth and helps to combat tightness that may be present in the body after pregnancy and labor. Some indications that you may benefit greatly from pre- and postnatal yoga include:
